Materials Required:
- A large plastic bottle (5-liter size works well)
- Marker
- Hot iron thin rod
Steps:
- Prepare the bottle: Clean the bottle and remove the labels. Mark two lines on it – one about 15 cm from the bottom and another 5 cm from the neck.
- Make a water outlet: Make a small hole about 5 cm above the bottom of the bottle and 5 cm below the neck.
- Fill the bottle: Fill with water up to the top hole and tighten the cap.
- Place the bottle: Dig a hole near the tree and bury the bottle up to the marked line, i.e., 15 cm, taking care that the hole faces the tree.
- Final step: Fill the bottle completely, close the cap, and cover with soil, leaving the neck exposed.
