You can grow bitter gourd on your roof or balcony. If you cultivate it once, you will get fresh, unadulterated bitter gourd for twelve months. Thinking of a lot of things? Not at all! And the most important thing is that this summer is the right time to sow gourd seeds. Today, I am writing step by step for you how to do it easily.

What will be needed to cultivate gourds:
Soil (any soil can be cultivated, loam or sandy loam is best)
A large tub
Bitter gourd seeds
Water
Manure
Organic matter

First step of cultivation of bitter gourd:
The soil should be prepared a week before planting the seeds. Make a good mixture of soil, dung manure, and water in the tub or drum in which you are going to plant the gourd plant. After a week, the soil will be clean. When done, turn the soil upside down. Now put bitter gourd seeds in it and cover it with soil from above. Press the soil and level it by hand. Water from above when the seeds germinate. Note that the soil should be watered so that it is just wet. Too much water will spoil the seeds.

The second stage of cultivation of bitter gourd:
Water little by little every day after sowing. While watering, take care that the water does not freeze. Then there will be no trees. Keep giving a small amount of water every morning and afternoon. It takes about 20 to 25 days to grow bitter gourd seedlings. Apply organic fertilizer once a week when seedlings grow. Remove any other weeds that grow in the tub. Water little by little every day.

The last step of the cultivation of bitter gourd:
Seedlings will begin to flower after 40 days of planting. At this time, give a stick to the tub. Or place the tub in such a place that the plant gets support. The gourd tree is a creeping plant, so if it is staked, it can spread down the tree. The yield is good.

Within one to two weeks of flowering, you will see small fruits begin to grow. Fruits can be harvested exactly two months after the time of cultivation of the gourd tree. So these two months you have to give some time to take care of the plant. Fertilizer and water should be applied properly. If you want, you can keep the liquor tea leaves for a week. It works very well.
